Titita (titita.app) is a free app to learn music. This policy explains what data is saved, what for, and how you can ask for it to be deleted. The data controller is Abner Casallo (Peru), and you can write to abner.casallo@unmsm.edu.pe.

No count-in. You can use the app without signing up. Your progress (points, streak, stars, records, missed exercises to review and level test results) and your preferences are saved in your browser.

To sync that progress and for challenges, the app creates an anonymous session: a random identifier that isn't linked to your name or email.

With count-in. If you create an account, we keep your email address so you can sign in from other devices. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email and profile picture with us. We only use the email to identify your account, and we don't publish your name or your picture.

Your progress is saved with your account: the level and instrument you chose, your points and streak, your best stars and records, your answers in the exercises (whether you got them right and when) and your level test results. We don't ask for your age, address or location.

Challenges. If you create or join a challenge, the nickname you type and your score are saved. Only the people who joined the challenge with its code see them. There are no public rankings.

Microphone. Some exercises use the microphone to know which note you sing or play and whether your claps are on time. The sound is analyzed on your device, in the moment: it is not recorded or sent to any server.

What we use the data for. Only so the app works: saving your progress, syncing it between devices, suggesting the daily practice and reviews, and showing challenge results. We don't sell or share your data, show ads, or use analytics tools or tracking cookies.

Who else processes the data. The database and sign-in are on Supabase, with servers in the United States. If you sign in with Google, Google processes that sign-in under its own policy. If you make a voluntary contribution, PayPal processes it: we don't see your card details.

Kids. Kids mode has no chat, rankings, purchases or requests for contributions, and doesn't ask for personal data. If a child under 14 is going to have an account, their mother, father or guardian must create it, with the adult's email.

How long we keep it. Your progress is kept as long as you have the account. Challenges expire and are deleted with their results. If you ask to delete your account, your email and all your progress are removed.

Your rights. Under Peru's Personal Data Protection Law 29733, you can ask to access your data, correct it, delete it or object to its use. Write to us at abner.casallo@unmsm.edu.pe from your account's email and we'll reply within the legal deadlines. If you're not satisfied, you can turn to Peru's National Authority for Personal Data Protection.

You delete the data that lives only in your browser yourself, by clearing the site data in your browser.

Changes. If we change this policy, we'll update the date on this page. If the change is important, we'll also let you know in the app.
